Christian colleges and universities have a long history in the United States and are still going strong. There are over 900 self-described religiously affiliated and accredited campuses across the United States. These include schools based on several different religious faiths, but the majority are four-year Christian universities, colleges and Bible colleges.
Christian post-secondary institutions, located all across the United States, must meet the needs of a diverse student body, which includes international students. As well, the student population at Christian schools can include students from up to 30 - 40 different religious affiliations. Christian universities and colleges are diverse and may therefore be either non-denominational or attached to a specific tradition (such as Presbyterian, Wesleyan, Baptist, etc.). Academic offerings encompass many of the same undergraduate bachelor's degrees, associate's degrees, certificates and possibly graduate studies that you would expect from a US institution, offered from the perspective of a Christian worldview: you can find a range of liberal arts and professional programs, business, early childhood education, social work, and even outdoor leadership. Programs may also include religious and theological studies (including various types of practical ministry). Many of the Christian universities and colleges in the US have achieved national and international attention through their missionary and social outreach endeavors.
So be sure to investigate what may be offered at the innovative and rigorous Christian colleges and universities in the state and throughout the country.
